The review score of 7.6 doesn't do this hotel justice. The staff, food, drinks, service and location are fabulous! We stayed here for one night and even after cancelling our original booking and booking again, upon checkin the hotel staff still insisted on giving us ur money back for the night we weren't staying. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were very attentive, polite and courteous. What we also loved about the hotel is their green credentials, no plastic bottles in the room, all glass bottles including the complimentary toiletries and water. Breakfast, although we paid extra for this, was fabulous, never been to a hotel where someone cuts your fruit for you from a whole fruit. Fabulous Hotel and so handy for the airport - much closer than Colombo would be.

We loved the hotel, the open layout in the common areas let in a lot of ocean air which helped cool things. The pool was nice and the access to the beach was wonderful! The staff were friendly and attentive, they went out of their way to make us comfortable. The food at the Lellama restaurant was delicious and value for money. Our room had a very nice view and it was spacious. We initially thought we would need a cot for our toddler but the bed was big enough for all three of us. Overall the experience was definitely value for money. We hadn't planned to stay the night in Negombo. We looked for a place mid day and found it on Booking.com and we were very happy with the deal they were offering.

We have stayed here a few times now and we love it! The staff are fantastic and are there to help in any way they can. Super friendly and always smiling. Rooms are clean and the beds are our favourite of all hotels in SL. Extremely comfortable. Food is excellent 👌 with a huge variety to choose from and very fresh. Sanitation is very high on their priority list ensuring all food is covered as much as possible & vigilant staff checking the food stations carefully. Being right on the beach and on the main street in Negombo Beach makes it close to everything and walkable to all the local restaurants, bars & shops. Looking forward to coming back in November ☺️

Breakfast had a lot of variety. Honestly, wasn't expecting such a good breakfast at this property. Also the view of beach and sea were superb from the breakfast area. Had a feeling as if we were dining on the beach. Restaurant food was good. Had some snacks and food in the room from the restaurant. The staff overall was very hospitable. They upgraded our rooms right at the time of check-in without any request. Also offered 15% off on Spa services. Deluxe room with sea view and bathroom were very comfortable.

The overall experience at the property was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, good amenities, friendly and attentive staff, great room service menu, the staff accommodated our special requests, and the hotel is situated in a great location. There was so much to experience - toddy tapping, fresh fish hauls, catamaran rides, beautiful sunsets and so much more. We had a wonderful and relaxing time overall. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
